All sessions are natural, relaxed and creative. Several choices for both your aesthetic and budget. Newborns should be 2-12 days old.
Babies are best photographed as natural and real as possible. Therefore, unnatural posing or compositions are not used in my photography. The concentration is on pure and natural. I use a combination of lifestyle, studio styled and simple newborn posing to ensure this for my photography. Nothing is forced and baby is always in a safe position.
The way I edit baby is also natural and pure. I do not smooth baby's skin to a porcelain finish. Baby's skin will still show pores and wrinkles. What is eliminated is baby acne and skin peel unless my client says not to edit those out.
The comfort of your home also ensures a natural, relaxed and personalized environment.
Baby's due date is used as the booking date, once baby arrives we finalize an actual session date.
-How many photos do I get? Typically, a session yields 25-40 images in the gallery (10-25 for mini sessions).
-What should I bring to a studio session? Bring anything you would like incorporated into the session. There are diapers, wipes, rash cream, as well as, snacks, water, tea, coffee and a microwave and refrigerator in studio. You may bring more snacks foods, drinks, basically anything you'd like to make your stay comfortable.
-What is your refund policy? I will do everything in my experience and abilities to capture a beautiful keepsake for your home. However, photography is a creative art, therefore there are no refunds. Also, your booking fee is non-refundable. This fee holds your date and time, exclusively.
-Are you vaccinated? YES, fully vaccinated! One of my part-time jobs is photographing newborns in the hospital. In order to work in the hospital, ALL employees need to be current on vaccinations. I am current with Flu, MMR, TdaP, HepB and get yearly tested for TB. I STRONGLY believe ALL newborn photographers NEED to be current on all of these - YOUR BABY DEPENDS ON IT!
